W: Xiao Tang, so you’ve started going to university here in London. How do you find university life in Britain?

M: Well, it’s quite different from university life in China. Here you’re more on your own. For one thing, you’re free to choose when to have lessons and decide what courses to take. So I don’t choose any early morning courses on Monday so that I can sleep late after the weekend.

W: I see…So, being able to get up late in the morning is what you like about university life here?

M: Not exactly. I don’t get up late every day. On Tuesday I get up at 7 because my advanced physics class starts at 8. I prefer to have that course early in the morning with a clear mind since I find the course rather difficult.

W: I see.

M: What I like most about university life here is that I can ask questions and discuss things freely in class with the professors. I think the discussions are very interesting and helpful.(BAA)
